WINTER WALLEYE FISHING AT ITS FINEST
This is ice fishing at its best. Bayview Lodge provides, quite possibly, the finest winter walleye fishing anywhere! In fact, an average day of ice fishing at Lake of the Woods is probably as good as your best day of ice fishing anywhere else! Plowed ice roads lead to and from your pre-heated fish house with the holes already pre-drilled and the gas lights turned on. Tackle and bait and are available for purchase at the lodge.
Depending upon the weather, the ice fishing season usually runs from early December through March for walleye and sauger. In the winter, the limit for walleye and sauger is 6 with no more than 4 walleyes. Every walleye between 19.5″ and 28″ must be returned to the water.
In winter, plowed ice roads lead from the resort to heated, lighted rental houses on the lake. Holes are pre-drilled by the time you get to the house.

Children under 5 free — Ages 6-11 are ½ the adult price above — 12 and older are adult prices
Drive out on plowed road – Two holes per person – gas heat – lights.

CANCELLATION POLICY: BAYVIEW LODGE REQUIRES A $100/PER PERSON DEPOSIT ON ALL RESERVATIONS. THIS IS NON REFUNDABLE BUT WITH A 30 DAY NOTICE IS TRANSFERRABLE WITHIN THE SEASON. NO REFUND FOR EARLY DEPARTURES OR LESSER NUMBER OF PEOPLE. IF YOU FAIL TO CANCEL A RESERVATION AND ARE A “NO SHOW”, YOUR ENTIRE STAY WILL BE CHARGED ON YOUR CARD.
